Couldn't load pickup availability
Saturday, February 21 | 9:00–11:00 AM at The LIDO Collective
**Participants must bring their own sewing machine.
Join textile artist Andi Shannon for a playful, hands-on sewing class that explores color, texture, and creative freedom through collage fabric and free-motion stitching. This technique-focused workshop is a delicious blend of fabrics, yarns, experimentation, and a little bit of magic.
Everything except a sewing machine is provided. By the end of class, you’ll have created original fabric pieces to take home, explored new ways of combining materials, and gathered plenty of ideas for using your handmade fabric in future projects. Expect inspiration, discovery, and fingers itching to keep creating.
This class is best suited for participants who are comfortable using their sewing machine. No prior free-motion experience is required, though a free-motion foot is highly recommended.
About the Instructor
Andi Shannon is a textile artist whose work is deeply inspired by the natural world. Growing up in Alaska and now living in the Skagit Valley, her art reflects the textures and colors of mossy forests, driftwood shores, shell-strewn beaches, and expansive mountain landscapes. Working with fabric, thread, and yarn, Andi creates tactile pieces that transform familiar materials into works that invite reflection, joy, and connection.
