Laura Brodax

Laura Brodax is a ceramic artist. She considers local history, natural surroundings, and urban landscapes to customize stories on tile murals and porcelain wares. Inspired by traditional ceramic transferware, early photographic techniques and nature, she uses photographic imagery and the printed line to bring ideas forward through hand printing glaze on porcelain. Laura works at her storefront studio Modern Glaze in Shoreline, WA. Her work can be seen throughout various locations in the Puget Sound area.
