Silver Borders LLC

Based in Washington State, artist Krystal Munday is the artist behind Silver Borders LLC. She discovered silversmithing through an unexpected but life-changing turn. After relocating from North Carolina, she found herself searching for connection and creativity in an unfamiliar place. In 2017, her husband gifted her a beginning silversmithing class at the Shack Art Center in Everett, Washington, introducing her to a craft that would quickly become a passion.

From the moment she first lit a torch, Munday was captivated by the process of transforming raw metal into wearable art. What began as a hobby soon became a dedicated pursuit. While continuing her full-time career as a Ford Service Advisor, she spent evenings refining her skills, studying techniques through books and tutorials, attending local markets, and practicing tirelessly at her workbench.

After years of persistence, experimentation, and growth, Munday made the leap to become a full-time silversmith. Her work is deeply inspired by nature, texture, and the beauty of the world around her, often blending traditional techniques with a spirit of exploration and curiosity. Today, she creates handcrafted jewelry that reflects both artistry and personal transformation, celebrating the journey that led her to the craft she now loves.
