Kathleen Glassburn

Kathleen Glassburn graduated from the University of WA with a BA in English. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University, Los Angeles. She has had over fifty short stories published. Many of them are in her collection Where Do Stories Come From? or are in her collection Hummingbirds, which is soon to be released. She is Managing Editor of The Writer's Workshop Review , and she has a published novel, entitled Making It Work, and is working on a WWII-era novel, as yet untitled. She is always working on one of her hundreds of unpublished short stories in various stages of development. Visit her website!
Kathleen has lived in Edmonds, WA in the same house for over fifty years. She has two adult children and four delightful grandchildren. An animal lover, she has a 120 pound female Shiloh Shepherd; two rescue cats -- a male and a female; and two horses, a Warmblood gelding and an Irish Sport Horse mare. She rides two or three times a week. She plays the piano and loves to read.
