Anna Kuntz

Anne Kuntz is a fiber artist based in Mount Vernon, Washington, known for her beautifully crocheted 100% cotton baskets and mesh market bags. A lifelong maker, Anne learned to crochet as a child in rural Illinois—first taught by her grandmother, and later mentored by a kind neighbor along her paper route. Though she also knits, crochet remains her preferred medium for its versatility and tactile satisfaction.

Anne moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1986 in search of adventure and found both love and home in the Skagit Valley. For years, her handcrafted pieces were treasured gifts for family and friends, who encouraged her to share them more widely. Now, her functional fiber art is regularly featured at the LIDO Collective, where customers appreciate both its beauty and practicality.

By profession, Anne is a hospice nurse; in her personal life, she finds joy in creativity, community, and a longtime love of Appalachian clogging.
