Amelia Evans

Amelia Evans has always loved to create. Though her medium has shifted alongside ever-evolving obsessions, that creative fire has always burned strong—and for as long as she can remember, she couldn’t imagine being anything other than an artist.

Her first true artistic obsession began in elementary school, creating miniature—often food-themed—sculptures out of polymer clay. This practice stayed with her for years and even became a grounding force during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

Over time, Amelia took numerous art classes that helped carry her through the challenges of high school, where she first fell in love with ceramics. She explored drawing, painting, sculpture, and fiber arts before beginning a particularly formative internship in silversmithing—a true game changer. After an intense and passionate period with metalwork that ultimately led to burnout, she felt herself called back to ceramics once again.

In the fall of 2025, Amelia moved to Bellingham and became a member of MUD, a collective studio she describes as deeply inspiring. Since then, she has been honing her practice as a ceramic artist while continuing to explore her many creative interests as they arise.
